🟣 Wed, April 1 — Mahjong 102: Learning ($40) | 6:00–8:30 pm | Private residence, Build hands and confidence as well dive into the 2026 card and game strategy with guided play.

🟣 Wed, April 8 & Thu, April 9 — Open Play ($15) | Morning (Great Harvest Bakery) & evening session (Bike Rack Brewing Co.| Bring your own card, everything else is provided. Show up and play!

🟣 Sun, April 12 — Mahjong 101: Beginner ($40) | 6:00–8:30 pm | Private residence, Bentonville Never played before? This is the one. Perfect for beginners and those needing a refresher. (Or SAVE if you register for our Beginner's Bundle.)

🟣 Tue, April 14 — Tiles & Tinis with Lady Slipper! ($50) | 5:30–7:30 pm | Tiles on the table, cocktail in hand, salad and fries to the side. It's girl dinner, mahjong style.

Lady Slipper and Mahj Garage are teaming up for an exclusive evening for experienced mahjong players you won't want to miss. Expect playful competition, elevated bites, and a table set for connection. You bring the style: we'll bring the tiles.

The 2026 NMJL card is here! Have you had a chance to play with it? I have, and I think it is going to be a great year filled with mahjongs! for all of us. Spring is in the air, and tiles are chittering all around Bentonville and Northwest Arkansas. One of the questions I am often asked is, "Where can we play?" This week, I played at Fieldnotes at The Compton Hotel in Bentonville and Un Duex Trois Cafe in Bentonville. Bambird Scramble players were also seen at Kennedy Coffee, Red Kite Coffee, and Iron Horse.

I'm currently compiling a list of mahjong-friendly places to play, so if you have any locations to add, please let me know! Locations in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Centerton, Gravette, Cave Springs, Bentonville, and Bella Vista are all appreciated!

Which leads me to my last update: construction progress on Mahj Garage. While we still don't have a solid end date, I am happy to report that exterior brick is going up, and drywall is almost finished inside! It won't be long until we're washing tiles and calling mahjong in Mahj Garage!
