Mahjong 101: Beginner

Ready to learn how to play American mahjong in a supportive, encouraging environment?! By the end of this 2-hour class, you will:

• Learn how to identify and play with the tiles 

• Learn how to read the National Mah Jongg League Card to build winning hands

• Receive answers to your questions and guided coaching 

• Learn the basics of American mahjong in an encouraging, engaging environment

• Leave with knowledge and Mahj Garage’s "Let's Play Mahjong" guide

This event will take place at a private residence in Bentonville. The location will be shared with you after registration.

Mahj Garage will provide everything needed to play the game of American mahjong (tiles, mats, racks, pushers, cards, lighting, and curriculum). All we ask of you is to arrive promptly, ready to learn!

Please note:

The cost is $40 a person.

There are no refunds if you cancel within five days of your scheduled event.  You may, however, reschedule for a future class or party credit, subject to price increases and availability. Full refunds are permitted if the event is canceled outside the five-day window.
