Pair up with your match for a night of partner-play fun with Mahj Garage and Bike Rack Brewing Co.

We're trying something a little different to add a little spark to our Valentine's event. Grab your spouse or a friend to create a "perfect match" for a night of partner mahjong play. Yes, PAIRED play. For this event, you will play with a partner for 8 players per table. It's a great way to introduce a spouse or friend to American mahjong, or to enjoy switching up gameplay for an evening. This night is focused on fun – winning comes second.

This is an open-play event (no coaching), so ONE person in your pair will need experience playing American mahjong. Mahj Garage will provide everything required to play, so come with your partner ready to have a fun, lighthearted night of mahjong following NMJL rules. Who knows, we may even throw in another game just because we can.

If you want to eat, please arrive early and eat before the event begins. No wings (no matter how delicious they are) or other messy food can be eaten at the tables. We appreciate your understanding in helping us keep our tiles and the playing space clean. You may drink and have dry snacks at the table.
