This event will take place at a private residence in Bentonville. The location will be shared with you after registration.

Mahj Garage will provide everything needed to play the game of American mahjong (tiles, mats, racks, pushers, cards, lighting, and curriculum). All we ask of you is to arrive promptly, ready to learn!

Mahjong102: Learning - 

Feel ready to level up after Mahjong 101? If so, then this class is for you. In this 2-hour class, you will:

• Review the National Mahjong League’s rules

• Build confidence in selecting and building your hand

• Begin to learn how to play strategically 

• Play American mahjong with a supportive coach to answer your questions

Mahj Garage will provide everything needed to play American mahjong (tiles, mats, racks, pushers, cards, lighting, and curriculum).

This event will take place at a private residence in Bentonville. We will share the location after registration.

Q&A Guided Play is designed for mahjong players who are comfortable playing with others but still want support as they play. This session is ideal for those who have moved beyond beginner lessons but still appreciate the ability to ask questions about rules, gameplay, and strategy. This session begins with a targeted skill or strategy development lesson. After which, play begins. Coaching is intentionally limited to keep play flowing. If you are new to the game, please register for a beginner-level course so this experience remains enjoyable for all participants.

During this 2-hour session, you will:

• Begin with skill/strategy development

• Review National Mah Jongg League rules and gameplay etiquette

• Ask questions and receive real-time answers during play

• Build confidence while playing American mahjong with experienced players

Mahj Garage will provide everything needed to play American mahjong, including tiles, racks, mats, pushers, cards, lighting, and instructional materials.

Play mahjong with Mahj Garge at Bike Rack Brewing Co. This event is for experienced players who want to build community at the mahjong table.

• This is an open-play event for experienced mahjong players. It's okay if you have some questions: we are here to help, but this event is focused on social gameplay.

• Mahj Garage will provide everything required to play, including NMJL or BIG Cards.

• Beverages and food are available for purchase.

• The educator discount is not available for Open Play Events.

If you want to eat, please arrive early and eat before the event begins. No wings (no matter how delicious they are) or other messy food can be eaten at the tables. We appreciate your understanding in helping us keep our tiles and the playing space clean. You may drink and have dry snacks at the table.

Come for the tiles & games, stay for the laughs, friendly competition, and great beer.
